What Is An Artist? An artist is a person who is involved in the wide range of activities that are related to creating art. But what is “art”, exactly? “…art plays a large part in making our lives infinitely rich. Art stimulates different parts of our brains to make us laugh or incite us to riot, with a whole gamut of emotions in between. Art gives us a way to be creative and express ourselves. You could say “Art is something that makes us more thoughtful and well-rounded humans.” So, you could say “Art is something that is both functional and (hopefully) aesthetically pleasing to our eyes.” –  | The Incredible Creation’s main objective is to showcase a wide range of “artists”, whether they are recording (Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, Jazz, Soul, etc.), visual (graphic design, painting, clothing, etc.), musicians (Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.), radio personalities and the list goes on… Here’s what we have thus far…

Introducing; TenéaJenelle, an American recording artist… Born May 25th… raised in Baltimore Maryland. Tenéa’s love for music came at an early age, while performing in school plays and musicals in elementary school. By the 7th grade, Tenéa continued to chase her dream of music as she was introduced to the recording studio and ventures of being apart of many girl groups. Tenéa continued to study music through her educational career graduating from The University of The Arts in Center City Philadelphia. Through the growing years her passion increased as her father continued to push her towards excellence. Not only was Tenéa blessed with a soul sweeping voice , she was equipped with impeccable song writing skills. Her early inspiration comes from Destiny’s Child as she later follows the sounds of Jill Scott, India Arie, Erykah Badu, and Beyonce just to name a few. Tenéa’s ground breaking music speaks for itself; full of life, fun, family, and love. “Are you ready to be entertained?”

Baltimore native, Kydd, is a visual artist with dreams of being a powerhouse designer. His clothing can be seen at a glance on people from New Orleans to his hometown Baltimore, with plans to reach farther.

What started as a way to earn extra money in college blossomed into a passion. To have him say it, “there is nothing like watching a person wearing a smile you inspired while wearing a shirt you created”. Not your average print and press t-shirt guy, he will plan out and sketch the idea from start to finish. Even if it includes sewing, by hand.

Encompassing more than t-shirts, he offers sweatpants and hoodies, leggings and panties, bras and socks. Even hats, the sole purpose being to dress you from head to toe.

An offshoot of Kaos Clothing, his brand LustLife started as a name for the women’s section. But grew into something of its own. Now not just for women but for everyone, including toddlers, it’s fulfilling the name sake.

“LustLife means you actually live, chase down whatever you dream of. Nothing is off limits.” Which by some designs is true, the openness and unapologetic vulgarity which just wants to spark a conversation. “Lust comes before the possibility of love, it’s how we get people to start loving themselves again.”

The difference being that instead of finding a niche, LustLife aims to create a niche where under one brand a person can find anything that fits their personality.

But some things can’t be conveyed on fabric, that’s where we meet the visual artist and author. The other side. A playful and hopeful personality demonstrated in paintings and sketches that clutter his workspace. As well as the words and writings that are well organized in cabinets and dressers, minus perfect grammar, that display the loving  caring and in your face nature of his character. With four books copyrighted and numerous pieces of visual art just waiting for owners, he proves that like the city that birthed him, there are many sides. Different points of views that make up one vision.

And when asked about all that he does he replies, “it’s all art”.

So who knows what the future holds for this young man who has up until this point been perceptively aimless while achieving many regards. Especially with new management and opportunities found under the umbrella of The Incredible Creation.

Keva Michelle

Keva Michelle was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and has loved art since she was a child. At the age of 21 she made the decision to surrender her life to Christ and has dedicated her art to sharing the gospel. Her artwork aims to not only bring people closer to God, but to also depict blacks as empowering figures in the bible. Instead of repainting or redrawing Michelangelo’s depiction of God and Adam, she repaints them both as people of color, thus giving the current & next generation a new narrative that includes, not excludes, her people.

Milly Esquire

It was once defined that the music industry consisted of individuals that composed and performed an array of versatile music. Music of today has stepped on a stage in where versatility hides behind a curtain. We ask ourselves who will bring this versatility to front stage? Enter: Mark S. Clarke Jr., musically known as Milly Esquire (formerly: Lucky a.k.a Mark Milly). Born on December 17, 1987 in Baltimore, MD, Milly was believed to be born to make musical history. The inspiration of his father playing hip hop during Milly’s childhood created the prototype for his success. At the tender age of ten, he started to explore and listen to different genres of music including, but not limited to, country, pop, rock, etc. Fast Forward: The year is 1999, Milly decided that he wanted to start “rapping” based on the influences of Bone Thus N Harmony, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z and Master P. Before Milly emerged, he was originally known as Mark “the shark” and did not commence as a solo artist. While attending middle school he formed a group called “The GoodFellaz” with talented rappers ‘M-80’ and ‘Infinite’ later known as ‘4th Quarter’ (4thQu). Curtain Closes. The Goodfellaz went their separate ways, Milly continued to write with dreams of one day becoming a rap star but soon found himself succumbed under adversity of his neighborhood. Once he broke free from the misfortune and the occurrence of major developments in his life he realized that it was time to start taking music much more seriously from a vocal and business standpoint. New Scene: Milly creates ‘The Y.H.G.M Brand (a wide spread movement of young rappers, and people striving to be successful in a range of areas) around 2006 then creates ‘The Incredible Creation’ around 2009 & has finally made it his main focus (circa 2013). The year is 2014: And Milly has put “being an artist” on the back-burner… Will he pick up the mic again? We’ll just have to wait & see…. To Be Continued….??
